I’m the founder of IC Hair—a braider, loctician, and business educator based in Lynnwood, Washington. I’ve spent years building my craft and the business behind it, one client, one decision, and one chapter at a time.

 

My interest in hair started at nine. At 15, I turned it into a business, braiding classmates before school, after school, and whenever I could. At 16, I worked from a room inside a nail salon in Everett. At 17, I moved into a barbershop, where I continued developing my skills and building relationships with clients.

 

In October 2025, I opened my own private studio. By April 2026, I had expanded into a larger suite. What started as Isabella’s Braids grew into IC Hair—and every move required me to grow alongside it.

 

Clean parts. Gentle hands. A professional experience.

 

Today, I specialize in custom braided designs and loc services. My clients include children, adults, athletes, and creatives, with particular care for tender-headed clients and people who feel nervous about getting their hair done.

The details matter to me: how your scalp feels, how your style comes together, and how you’re treated throughout your appointment. I’ve built my reputation around careful work, clear communication, and an experience people feel comfortable returning to.

 

Building the business behind the chair.

Growing IC Hair has also meant learning how to attract clients, communicate my services, price my time, and create policies that support my work. Those decisions are part of my experience, just as much as the hairstyles.

 

Through education, including my Retwist Essentials course, I share what I’ve learned. Now, I’m developing my first business coaching offer for braiders, barbers, and hairstylists, focused on content, pricing, and booking systems. I’m starting with conversations to understand what support other hair professionals need most.

IC Hair is still growing—and I’m intentional about what comes next.
