Yes. Hair is included with all services that require braiding or human hair. • Multiple colors & custom blends available • Curl patterns available upon request • All braiding hair is pre-treated to remove harsh chemicals • Designed to reduce irritation, itching, and scalp sensitivity This is part of my commitment to scalp health and long-lasting results.
How long do braids typically last?
Typically 4–8 weeks, depending on: • The style • Your hair type • How well you maintain them Proper moisturizing and nighttime protection are key to longevity.
Do I need to wash my hair before my appointment?
Yes. Please arrive with clean, fully detangled hair. This helps: • Achieve the best results • Reduce appointment time • Protect your scalp Detangle services can be added if needed.
Can braiding damage my hair?
When done professionally and correctly, braiding should not damage your hair. I specialize in: • Gentle tension • Clean parts • Scalp-first techniques Your hair’s health always comes first.
Can I wash my braids?
Yes — for styles such as: • Knotless braids • Two-strand twists • Plaits Tips: • Use a diluted shampoo • Focus on the scalp • Avoid excessive rubbing • Let braids air dry Tie braids up to prevent water running down the length.
How do I maintain my braids?
• Keep scalp clean & moisturized • Wear a silk or satin scarf/bonnet at night • Avoid excessive manipulation Light oils, braid sprays, or foams help maintain hydration and shine.
What's the best way to take down braids?
Gently unravel using your fingers or a comb. • Be patient — do not rush • Avoid pulling or cutting natural hair • Detangle after removal • Follow with a deep conditioner or hydrating treatment This helps prevent unnecessary breakage.
How often should I braid my hair?
It’s best to give your hair a 2–4 week break between braid installs. This allows: • Scalp recovery • Moisture balance • Long-term hair health Protective styles work best when paired with rest.
Do you accept late arrivals?
Late arrivals may result in: • A shortened service • An additional late fee • Or rescheduling, depending on availability • 10 minutes late = Appointment cancelled OR $25 late fee if still able to service • If you are not in my suite before the 10 minute grace period = Appointment canceled , no exceptions Please arrive on time to ensure your full service experience.
What is your deposit / cancellation policy?
